show at Verdugo High, while earlier there is a
PARADE will all the locals.
HERE we see a PARADE participant, and as
you can see the community's envolvement
with local politics is visible; here against hillside
developments that threaten the natural areas.

NOT ALL protests are successful, the people who
said no to the GOLF COURSE in the Tujunga wash
had a hard time saving natural species... there was
some compromise, but golfers won... they did a good
job though with their planning.
