I HAVE A STORY TO TELL ABOUT
WHAT I PRESUME ABOUT THAT
INTERSECTION IN QUESTION,
THAT IT HAS BEEN A CONTINUING
AREA OF A VIOLATION TRAP
FOR YEARS.
and what about Big Boy?...
-THIS IS THE XWALK STORY...
What I heard over 8 (eight) years ago may
change everyone's minds about the so-called
'conclusion' to the news reports, worldwide, that
an older Sunland Tujunga resident was stopped by
an LAPD motorofficer and received a TICKET for
not walking fast enough across Foothill Blvd.
A regular working stiff 8 years ago told me the
story how he was ticketed at the same intersection.
I remember how he was adament that he did not
have enough time to cross the street to get to work.
He was about 18 years old working at a job nearby
and he felt the officer, back then, had targeted him.
I remember being in Downtown L.A. at about 11
years old walking around looking at the sites when
elderly ladies crossing the street would ask you to
walk with them.
So, instead we STALK our seniors and FINING them
instead of correcting the problem...
not just supposedly reading the penal code.
If you know the LAW then you
can improve on the culture you live in...
I've said enough...
The videos show the old kmart now closed also the site
of the Edward's Drive In we all enjoyed,
it had a fireplace in the snack bar.
The actual xwalk is shown with the new 'countdown'
seconds and they are on for a longer time.

-VALLEY PLAZA MEMORIES
Here is a remainder of Valley Plaza.
Radio Shack and Smart & Final occupy a building the I
say was an original inside mall. The Radio Shack area
where shops which you would enter right inside the
Thriftimart Market. As you walked in to the right was
a kiosk like shoe repair. There was also a Chef's
Chicken BBQ. Further north the other buildings
included DRUCKERS Kosher Deli, a Jewish Bakery
and the Thrifty Drug with a fountain at the back.
The market at Archwood was originally called
Mc Donald's Market with a Scotsman logo.
